    Yes. The domain is registered in your name, not ours, and you are listed as the registrant. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, you can. Some providers register domains in their own name and make leaving difficult. We do not.

    The renewal price is on our prices page, next to the registration price, for every extension we offer. We do not advertise a low first year and quietly renew you at three times the rate. What you pay in year one is what you pay in year three.

    Yes, at no cost, on every extension where the registry allows it. Your name, address, phone number and email stay out of the public WHOIS record. Some registries publish registrant data by policy and privacy cannot be applied there, which we tell you before you buy rather than after.

    Most transfers complete within five to seven days, and the domain keeps working throughout. You will need the authorisation code from your current provider. Our transfer page walks through it, and if anything stalls we deal with the losing registrar for you.

    Pladinum sends renewal reminders well before the expiry date, and again after it. Most extensions then have a grace period during which you can still renew at the normal price, followed by a redemption period where recovery is possible but expensive. After that the domain is released. We would rather remind you three times than watch a domain lapse.
